DJ Allen is a Financial Professional at Treaty Oak Advisors, bringing over 17 years of industry experience. He attended the University of North Texas and holds the LUTCF designation. DJ's path to becoming an advisor was influenced by his father, who had been in the business his entire life. In the summer of 2007, a conversation with his father about the joy and fulfillment he found in his work inspired DJ to pursue the same career and return to his hometown of Austin.
His favorite aspect of being a Financial Professional is the dynamic nature of the work; every day presents a new challenge, and no two days are alike. DJ enjoys assisting clients with all financial matters they encounter, whether buying a house or car, planning for a baby, or preparing for retirement. He finds all these aspects fun and very rewarding.
Outside of work, DJ is married to Sally, and they have two children, Alice (10) and Drew (5). Their family also includes a Black Labrador named Zeke. DJ enjoys golfing, watching sports, coaching kids' sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
